Thanks for visiting my website. Here’s a little bit of information about me.
I currently lead a talented team of innovators at Infinite Convergence and NetSfere. Together, we are pursuing an ambitious vision: transforming everyday messaging technology into secure, highly scalable communication platforms that can be leveraged across a variety of markets and segments.
My passions include anything related to high-tech entrepreneurship and the mobile technology industry in general, with a niche focus on wireless. I greatly enjoy sharing my perspective on these matters. Over the years, I have been interviewed by top telecom and business media outlets, and often present at industry conferences, on a wide range of topics — from wireless spectrum auctions to net neutrality to the future of enterprise messaging and unified communications.
With more than 25 years of leadership and operating experience in technology, mobile, SaaS, cloud, and telecom services, I have “been there, done that” on a variety of fronts — from raising venture capital to leading a fast-growth tech company to go public.
Prior to Infinite Convergence, I served as Senior Vice President at Meru Networks (NASDAQ: MERU) and Chief Business Development and Sales Officer at iPass Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS). I played an instrumental role in the successful, multi-billion dollar IPOs for both iPass and Meru Networks. I have also served as Vice President of Internet and Multimedia Services for British Telecom (Worldwide) and held senior management roles at Sprint International.
I also served President Obama as Director of the U.S. National Broadband Task Force (part of the Federal Communications Commission). In this role, I assessed global broadband policies, regulations, and best practices, leading to the first-ever national broadband plan.
I hold a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University, have attended the Senior Leadership Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School, and am a Wharton Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. I am a frequent contributor to wireless connectivity, broadband, and related security issues. I have received various industry accolades, including recognition by the Wireless Broadband Industry Alliance, U.K., the Maryland Technology Council, and Red Herring for exceptional individual and technology contributions to the wireless broadband industry.
